The high-tech facility covering an area of over 360,000 square
metres, has an installed capacity of 800 cubic metres. There, are
produced, by chemical syntheses, active ingredients for Recordati
pharmaceutical brands and of large-scale active ingredients and
active ingredients for the international markets.
The plant operates in accordance with cGMP (current Good
Manufacturing Practices) and in conformity with the most stringent
international environmental regulations. It is regularly inspected
by the FDA, by other national and international authorities as well
as our customers.
The Plant Environmental Management System, has gotten the
certification in 2003, according to the UNI EN ISO 14001: 1996
norm, subsequently confirmed according to UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004
norm. The Certification has been released by the International
Accredited Unit DNV (Det Norske Veritas, Italy).
